ISP issues

“he (Putin) has made some mistakes”? Oh, my God!!! :open_mouth: :open_mouth: :open_mouth:
He’s m____ring thousands of innocent people, including c___dren in
Ukraine, telling lies about it, cruelly suppressing his own folk, trying
to scare the s__t out of the whole world with his nuclear weapons
He is the worst enemy of the whole mankind!
Долой Путина!

I totally agree but that does not make him stupid.

Simple. He blocked the IP adresses or just simply the URL. Use VPN and no problem at all.

Can you use VPN in Russia?

Between the lines: VPN use in Russia is legal, but accessing officially blocked content is not, said Simon Migliano, head of research at Top10VPN.com, who also noted there are about 15 VPN services that have been banned by Russian authorities.

Just us a non Russian VPN. Using a Russian VPN seems to be a bit stupid :joy:

I used VPN when I was in China to get around their s__tty firewall and never had any problems :joy:

Does it make him a genius, then?

Nope just a very dangerous narcissist.

OK I know I don’t know that much so bear with me. each apartment has a IP address, could he simply block those thus no ways to get around that?

I think you are totally right and hit the point precisely!
I have suspected the same for a long time. It’s a very sly and
crooked way and should be denied by VHTV and shut down
the apartments which do so. I think the most obvious case is
Stifler, who has done it all the time!

No the IP adress you get from your ISP. This is your public ip. Normally it changes every hours. Some have a static IP which does not change. So no blocking such an IP won’t help as you could simply get a new IP.

Evidence?

I have of course no evidence, it’s only my strong suspicion.
Anyhow, thanks to this chat, I think I’m slowly starting to understand,
what these “ISP issues” really are. Maybe I was wrong initially.
On the other hand, VHTV could have informed us more about them.

Please be careful before accusing people without any evidence. A bit more communication from VHTV for sure would help too but please consider a lot of support workers are in Ukraine and therefore in a really bad and difficult situation.

Thank you very much!

I agree this is an unsuccessful way of putting it, but I cannot see it
as a clear accusation, because I started with “I THINK most obvious…”
On the contrary now it’s you who is accusing me! I remind you
that the freedom of expression concerns me, too, not to mention equally you!!
By the way I had admitted before your mean response that I had no evidence,
so why so hateful comment from you, or maybe you are in love with Stifler?
:joy: :joy: :joy:

I’m going to go out on a limb and say the who else responsible for the “ISP issues” is the Internet Service Provider.

Oh no. Now you come with simple logic

They could also have a s__t router. But my first answer was funnier.

If I may help ISP stands for Internet service provider and that is the service for you pay for the internet.

VHTV has servers that receive your request from your internet service provider and grant access after login to their service.

A quick test to check your stability of signal is to go to search and type in CMD (COMMAND PROMPT)

Then select Run as Admin

Then when the box pops up enter this string including spaces ping -t www.google.co.uk then press enter. I have used Google as it is an easy address to remember but any address will do.

What you are looking for is a consistent speed in the ‘ms’ (millisecond) collum any large jumps or timeouts shows that a person doesn’t have a stable connection.

Support has a whole load of tools that can help you as well.

You could also try unplugging the router from the mains electric and draining all the electricity for it by repeatedly pressing the power button. Then reconnect and try that.

And now you even come with facts
