@Xenon1711 I have read all the correspondence here, and to begin with I did not understand how from the Christmas tree you went into the maze of morality. But okay, that’s not the point now.
For starters, you certainly and undoubtedly put yourself above others, and definitely above the participants, by appealing to the authority of the majority (95% of the people). Let me tell you a secret - these 95% of people have not authorized you to speak on their behalf. Speak for yourself. Appealing to “authority” in the form of the majority in any argument is bad form. Strange that in your respectable age and high social status you are not familiar with this.
Further, morality is social constructs. This means that they were invented by humans, they are artificial concepts, they are not present in nature beyond the boundaries of our collective imagination. And because they are, these concepts are malleable, like any social constructs. This means that they change, not just from time but also from place. What is considered immoral in one place on Earth is quite normal in another, and vice versa. In some countries these days, just for watching porn, you would be seriously punished if someone found out about it.
In my opinion, if you are putting yourself above someone else around based on all these arguments, it makes you inferior to others. Why do I think that? Because it just shows how limited you are by your own experience and unable to perceive the experience of others as equal, which shows your egocentrism. And self-centered people are useless (again, this is just my opinion) because everything they do, they do only for themselves.

I was just replying to some of the ridiculous comments made about the Residence and what is actually happening here and that we should be aware of what kind of Site this is and not to get carried away with it. Yes, i do put myself above others. Not everyone, that would be naïve and a foolish thing to surmise. I have never denied that I put myself above others and yes, of course I put myself above Residence and some participants as in subscribers, but again, obviously not all of them. That would no doubt be untrue and unfair. But when I read from some subscriber, “don’t we all wish we had their life.” I just know I am above that and anyone that denies that fact, is either an idiot or delusional. I am speaking for the majority, because I have the figures in front me, taken from several surveys and as I have stated, I am not arguing the case, i am stating fact. The majority figure is actually 92%, but as I have also stated, that is just for the public that have given their views that they would never be a Resident of a Site like this and why they would not and it came down to factors. 1. They would never lower themselves to do so, so they also think they are above the Residence on here. and lets be honest, so they should. 2. They would seriously be jeopardizing their social standing and standards. 3. They would have to think of their family and what damage it would do to them. 4. there is more income to be made, by doing a job more satisfying, with better standards to the Community, their family life, more worth while and to their conscience. 5. they would be thinking of the future for when they decide to have c___dren and what damage it would do to them and them being Residence on a Site like this. Now…that does not come from me, that comes from a survey conducted among 38 million members of the British Public was published in 2018 and took 3 years to complete and that came about when the Governments from England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland were amending the PDL and as we all know, public opinion matters greatly in such cases and I am pretty sure I can stick my neck out and say that Public Opinion on such a matter has not changed much, if any, in 3 to 6 years, it very rarely does. Given that is over half the Countries population, it was a surprisingly high amount, but then some opinions matter more than others. Of course we all know, the amount from the public that would actually watch porn and do quite regularly, in any shape or form, stands at 87%, which is massively high, but nothing wrong with that. my own personal opinion is, there is nothing wrong in what the Residence of this Site do, as long as they are only thinking of themselves, never want a family of their own and are quite happy to do this until they are 150 years old and die of old age and as I have stated many a time, “whatever floats your boat” and if this is the only way they can generate money, or are too lazy to try any other way, then good for them. All I was stating was from a moral high ground it is not very moral, in fact, it is not moral at all… It will be detrimental to their family, it will be a horror show for their c___dren, when, (if) they decide to have them and leave all “this” behind, which they will want to do eventually. Videos clips of this Site and the Residence goings on, are all over the Internet and are not hard to find and they will never go away and are there for all to see forever and a day. One day, when their c___dren are old enough to understand, some one in their School WILL find these videos, because as c___dren grow up, looking for porn, is one of the things they do, it is human nature and finding a porn clip, or 50, of their Parent(s), that should never be, but WILL be and I know they are all typical to the old saying “you have made your bed, now lay in it” (literally!) and they are young, or stupid, one or the other, or maybe both and they have a lot to learn, but …when they grow up, meet someone that they REALLY love, marry them and form the family they will one day have made for themselves and do not tell them about this past life and all “this” rears its ugly head, when that finally happens, if you are not scared for the Residence, or sit there wondering how this will eventually all end, then there is something seriously morally and humanly wrong with you too. Yes, Social Constructs change, I never said they do not, but they do not change that much and it takes years of social behavior changes and way of thinking, for that social structure to do so. yes, things have obviously changed a lot over the centuries, but the social structure and moral dilemmas are still with us and they still matter and all this WILL come back to haunt them and might even ruin their lives and I am sure, even if you will not admit it, you agree with that prospect happening… Finally, for someone to preach to me, who is CEO of a Porn Site, who’s only interest is to make money and cares not one jot about the moral, or social implications of it all, is rich and so full of irony, I would not know where to start…and please, spare me any rebuff on what I have just written, because being a CEO of a Porn Site, you really cannot win that one. Yes, it is “your opinion”, but given who you are, what you do for a living and how you put food on your table and what it represents and what the future holds for these Residence, I have no interest in your (lack) morals, or really your misplaced opinions, because quite frankly, you do not have any really worth taking into account and yes, with you being CEO of a Porn Site, even you are inferior to me and I am certainly way above you in all aspects… After all, when it all falls apart around their ears, however long that takes…where will you be…certainly not helping them dig themselves out of the hole, they dug themselves in to and paying for the therapy bills, that’s for sure, that will be someone like me, who is in the medical profession, helping to put their lives back together, if at all possible… I am putting this up, but I do not expect it to stay up, but if you decide not to delete it, then kudos to you, maybe there is hope for you yet :0)

Oh, those sociological polls. In Russia, they recently conducted a poll which found that 92% of Russians don’t need the Internet on a daily basis. Do you know how this poll was conducted? On landline phones during working hours. This means that almost 100% of those surveyed are pensioners who have a home phone. Rather surprisingly, the figure is 92% and not 98%.
Or, as they say, millions of flies can’t be wrong.

I think you are right and I remember asking the question last year: “why is the Christmas Tree still up way into February?” and it is celebrated differently to what we know in Britain. But it kind of makes it interesting, unlike us, where we spend a fortune and it only lasts 5 minutes lol

We left ours up for two whole years once because my mom and sisters were so zealous about decorating with every single special ornament they had, it took so much work to put them up, decorate, then take everything down and put it away. The older I get, the less enthusiastic I am about that ritual, and I would just as well leave it up once it’s up. Maybe Henry and Mira feel the same way.
