I can still see the original version before it was deleted - via your *little pencil (*sorry, that sounds like an insult but you now what I mean) that shows up orange at the top of the post. Weird that the interface of the forum allows for that to be the case, I think.
I’m not very good at this sort of stuff David but i try my best,fuck ups are the norm for me as my good buddy Rob(Robwin)constantly reminds me.Guaranteed he will have something to say about this. 
No, it’s not down to you (human error), it’s just an oddity of the forum. When we edit or delete a post, it’s still technically possible for us and others to see it, just by clicking on that pencil icon, which turns orange when an edit/ deletion is made.
Have to slightly disagree with you there pal, it seems my bestest pal @Dave27 is excellent at self assessment.
