Based on how you guys described her, I’m not so sure infamous is the right word.

well known for some bad quality or deed.

synonyms: notorious, disreputable, ill-famed, of ill-repute
Shagging Scott is enough to qualify .

Famous would be the more appropriate word.
I think a participant/guest like Ben or Scott would be more suited to be described as infamous.
That’s the point, she did nothing wrong. It was the wrong adjective used.
