That was a back when companies made products that lasted. Then they realized they werenât reselling as many customers, and they started making machines that didnât last as long, or had parts that broke sooner, etc., etc. Itâs called planned obsolescence.
Planned obsolescence is a deliberate business strategy where products are designed to have a limited lifespan, making them break down or become outdated more quickly than they would otherwise. This encourages consumers to purchase replacements, boosting sales and profits.
It can manifest as design choices that make products difficult to repair, software updates that slow down older devices, or the introduction of new models that make older ones seem obsolete. It impacts consumersâ pocketbooks by forcing them to buy more often, as well as the environment by creating more waste.
I wouldnât exactly call Liya & Ares wildlife.

He certainly seems to be putting some effort into mowing the grass, thatâs for sure. Maybe an easier way to do it would be to use âŚ
âŚHeâd then just have to make sure he didnât set the trees and plants alight!!!

I have often seen a box on the back of a lawnmower to collect the grass cuttings. This one appears not to have one (hence half the garden is currently on Pyroâs trousers). I wonder why.

It is not unsusual here to keep the small grass cuts on the lawn. They are not very noticable, are good for the lawn in summer as they protect from the sun a bit and also feel very nice when you walk on them.
The grass mowing robots work in the same way.

I bet it smells really nice out there at the moment. I do love the smell of freshly cut grass.
For me, that would just add to the really pleasant atmosphere of the surroundings. I have been really enjoying listening to the sound of the birds (though not whilst Pyro has the mower going of course).

I had an old Flymo before.It was a noisy electric air cushion mower ,inherited from the previous tenant.It was like an Hovercraft needs 30 meters wire

Anyone know who this young fellow is? Not sure I have seen him before.
EDIT: I have just realised I should have posted this on the garden page as I have no idea where this relates to (going back to my previous points about locating external cameras in relation to the 2 buildings).
