“Enola Gay” is being removed from the Pentagon’s archives
The “Enola Gay” is being removed from the Pentagon’s archives because its name contains the word “gay”, which was apparently wrongly associated with homosexuality. This measure comes as part of a directive from Donald Trump, who had all diversity programs in US authorities terminated. The selection process used was too crude and also affected other significant images of minorities or misunderstood terms.
The Enola Gay was an American B-29 bomber that dropped the first atomic bomb on the Japanese city of Hiroshima in August 1945. The name “Enola Gay” comes from the mother of the pilot Colonel Paul W. Tibbets Jr.

Trump: “I have to stand in the shower for 15 minutes until they get wet. The water just comes out drop by drop. It’s ridiculous.”
