Funny's & Jokes (Part 2)

After being posted in Germany for 6 years I can vouch for that. I even remember German grounds keeper’s that worked on the base for the Canadian Armed Forces having a be_er at lunch. Some even at morning coffee break! Im not saying they over did it. Just that they had one.

The when you look at the Octoberfest. On the averages there are 7 million liters of be_er sold. 2014 set a record of 7.7 lirers!

If you divide 7 million by 16 days (it can last 15 to 17 days) thats 437,500 liters of be_er a day!!

I’ve been to the Octoberfest 4 times. And I know there are alot of people attend and a lot of be_er is drank. But I was amazed when I looked it up and saw the figures! :astonished:

… especially when you consider that the price per liter is now around 15 euros…

I’ve never been there (also because I live far enough away), and luckily I don’t have any desire to go there

WOW! I was there 76 - 82 and the exchange rate was really good, 2.65 DM for the Canadian dollar. I don’t remember what the price was for a liter at the OctoberFest was back then. I only remember that it was cheap for us.

Another thing I remember that pop (soda) was cheaper than b.eer!

There is a legal regulation in germany for this: there must always be at least one non-alcoho|ic drink cheaper than all alcoho|ic…but most of the time it’s just plain water
