It’s Swedish not Norwegian signs - but we use the word too (Fart = Speed)
I don’t understand this. Why would you mount a miniature bear trap on the wall in a house?
for unwanted guests like jehova’s whitness people
Okay, but why would they put their hand in a bear trap?
because ,the owner when not at home turns of lights ,the room would be in dark . so any unwanted guest would automatically turn on light switch . activating the trap thus ending up with a bloody stump , and there you have it, a funny as fuk scenario
Oh, that’s a light switch? Really? I know Europe sometimes does things a bit differently, but isn’t that a bit high for a light switch? Aren’t they usually mounted much lower, so kids can turn them on?
nope in uk light switches are ussually fitted approx 5 foot of the ground . as for kids having access to light switches is not a good thing as the little fukas always forget to turn them off
edit . ps
i understand you yanks being confused as you all overthink even the simpelist of task .
Smartass. Not true, but you’re still a smartass. I’ve seen picture after picture in the forum where the light switch is down at hip level.
uk ruling
The commonly accepted recommended height for light switches in the UK falls between 1200mm and 1350mm from the finished floor level to the center of the switch. While no single height is legally mandated, this range is widely adopted as best practice and aligns with accessibility guidelines as detailed by the Building Research Establishment (BRE).
but like i said
even after an explanation your still questioning things ,
The incomparable qualities of surströmming … (in Asian packaging)
Well, since there are no VHTV apartments in the UK, I guess we’re not talking about UK light switches. Most of the pictures I’ve seen on the forum that showed a light switch had it at around hip level.
