Funny's & Jokes (Part 1)

Jealousy will get you nowhere

It’s a pity non of the EU leaders haven’t got the balls to show similar support for Ukraine but no doubt they will find a way to take some credit when it’s all over

I can’t see why I’d be jealous

Just no imagination

Errrr, excuse me, Poland is the EU’s highest provider of weapons and with today’s announcement of 500 more tanks that takes the total up to 750 tanks,18 Krab self-propelled tracked gun-howitzers, and a large number of Piorun portable surface-to-air missiles, among other equipment, totalling nearly $2 billion.

Plus taking in 3.2 million Ukrainians into their homes, when the UK was still dragging their heals and arguing about visas for these people. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Like what?

Brexit, & Covid both the vaccines and pretty well called an early break to lockdowns compared to most politicians - just not himself

Yes i must admit Poland has been a great supporter, certainly shown many of the others up.
As far as who has taken most refugees is a testy subject really, it isn’t a competition but as Poland is bordering Ukraine they probably didn’t have much choice in the matter but i would hope that they are all being taken care of suitably as 3.2 million is a hell of a lot of people to have suddenly arrive over the border borders.
I think at the UK’s last count was it was around 142.000+ over here, not in the millions for sure but there are a lot of country’s between Ukraine and the UK.

On a lighter note…

Polish people didn’t think twice about it and right away opened their homes to Ukrainians, many driving to the border and picking up people and taking them back to their homes Rob. I saw it with my own eyes mate.

What do you mean there are no border controls?

Well are there then? Must be very slight to enable 3.2 million to enter so easily. Just asking as it is very huge numbers to check through.

Of course, there are borders, and all papers are checked before they enter, then the paperwork is processed, and then they are given a reference number and let through the border.

Gave out some laughing emoji’s but I’m struggling to get the joke   There is a thread for the war

I think the joke is that Rob doesn’t know how border crossings work.

He managed to get from Devon to Somerset, Just saying👍

They really let them out and Devon lets them in? :scream:

I doubt if you even know where it is you are even talking as to where is where in the UK
As i have said elsewhere all the experts are on here solving all the worlds problems so what could possibly go wrong

You are so funny young man, my whole point was is how Poland have managed to process such a huge volume of people in such a short space of time and house them.satisfactorily.
If they have then all credit to them but i am sure the UK would find it imposible to have such a sudden influx of 3.2 million people in such a short space of time without it causing many many problems.
