I wouldn’t worry too much, they often visit other realms while a new apartment is being setup.
Oh indeed and I know I can take comfort from that. It’s just human nature to miss someone you appreciate I suppose, despite not actually having ever met them.
The same is true of a certain other very well known participant (and my equally well known feelings on the forum for him, which I have never denied and never will). It’s just a relocation (at the moment at least), albeit in his case, a rather lengthy one.

Oh yes, Excalibur!!! That was (well still is, as far as I know) Xavier’s own nick name for his ‘little guy’. He made me laugh when he first mentioned it.
