I just did a quick check of the stats to see how many of us there are - I got to 6500 and the page was still loading people who have 0 points

from about place 2000 it becomes one digit, from about 5500 there are 0 points. the end of the list is at number 12658
i don’t know what worries me more: torey’s huge lead, or the lack of activity from most of the others …

if we define all >500 points as ‘active users’, and then estimate that only some of them are current premiums… then we have around 100 really active users…
paying ‘only spectators’ it hopefully more

Well, if all 12658 of them are premium subscribers (and I know they aren’t, but just hypothetically suppose they are), that would mean VHTV potentially could be making the equivalent of $506,320 a month from subscriptions. That would equal $6,075,840 a year in USDollars. Now that is a successful business!!!

I would delete all at most one-digit users directly from the mental list. these are created accounts that have at most or not even left a ‘like’ anywhere. these are guaranteed not paying users

Something scares me that I’m so far ahead. for me it doesn’t seem like ‘I don’t have anything better to do’ but more like ‘there aren’t enough users who are active at all’.

I describe myself as ‘curious’ I like to look for funny scenes that, provided with a punch line, also make for fun here in the forum. yes, that brings likes, and yes, that probably catapulted me higher in the ranking than expected. However, that’s my way and when I started with it, the leaderboard didn’t even exist. I won’t stop now because of that

Most names down to about 65 tell me something. i would call them the current core of the community. if they all remain as active as they are, there will only be minor shifts within them. unless you flood the forum with posts in the future…
however, even sebastian and flora are already part of the top65, and they hardly post 10 messages per week… their points certainly come more from given and received likes
