I was just enquiring as the next draft is only a few weeks away now.
Under current law, the draft targets men between the ages of 18-27 . Those soldiers are not allowed to be sent abroad or into active combat.
That is what they say. In fact thousands of conscripts got k__led. They use them as cannon fodder
I know it is slightly off topic but I used that paragraph to illustrate that Russian males of a certain age can be conscripted and as we both know get sent to The Ukraine without equipment,

The difference could be in the motivation of the person.

I have heard about military recruitment squads taking any guy off the street and enlisting them regardless of their desires!
