On here does not look like bandage. Rather like the kind of stuff you use to protect breakable things and wrap them in it. I am pretty sure it is a (very improvised) tattoo protection

It looks like the guaze and plastic wrap you wrap a new tattoo in. It doesn’t look like the bandages Tristan’s arms were wrapped in when he cut up his arms.
