Not quite what I meant by “grubby” though. 
I have yet to see such ‘wildlife’ in my mushroom stalks!
maybe if you collect it yourself… what comes packaged in the shop is mostly from breeding and without ‘inhabitants’
It depends on the type of mushroom and where they came from.
If you collect them yourself in the forest, for example, it happens very often. When they come out of the greenhouse, they are usually free of worms.
Mine have only ever come from a shop rather than foraging for them, although I think it would be quite nice, to be able to do that.

Up until a few years ago, I often went into the forest to pick mushrooms. But as the summers get warmer, it’s getting harder and harder to find any.
That’s why I only buy them in the supermarket.

Flora’s neighbor is drilling in his apartment again. Just how long does he renovate? The drilling noise could already be heard on the first day when Flora moved in…
are you sure they’re renovating and not drilling a spy hole in the wall?
