no way bro her fingering skill will still by good for her lol
but myself it took me a year til the pain goes away and my finger tip get callus cause u keep pressing on the strings
a electric guitar easier but u got to start from the basic

She could get extra soft strings as well but a true guitarist prefers it hard and should leave ever lasting marks on their fingers

if she get really good on that guitar she will be able to pick with her nails and not use a pick but it take a lots of time and patience’s lots
