Even though I still think Spain are the favourites, after yesterday’s game I think England can be trusted to do anything.
I mean, if the Spaniards score very early, it will be clear. But the longer the Lions can hold the result to a draw, the better chance the English will have

i think you miss understood me i was talking from a sports perspective , i know all about the wars etc , but that did not come into the equation when i made my comment , english football fans , have always needed to find a common enemy to fuel there passion , obviously the scots will always be enemy no1 , but due to the history between the english and the germans and penalties results the germans have become enemy no2 , i doubt any of the english football fans take heed of past wars in there dislike of germans and scots its just friendly rivalry that as gotten passioniate, link that with results and ■■■■ and thats how you get to the word hate

Sad to say but yesterday it also wrent wrong. There were 110.000 Dutch and 40.000 English fans. No problem at all from the start. Together in bars and then suddenly a few Dutch wanted to play tough. Seems like this only happens in football. I’ve been at other sports and never issues there.
