I actually have a short story on the subject! It’s been a while, I get to the bedroom, it’s pitch black, I manage to get to the bed, turn on the light on the side tables, turn around… and almost have a stroke!
My wife has gone to bed with a cucumber mask. Scared the fucking s__t out of me!

That reminds me of one of the Pink Panther / Inspector Clouseau films (‘Shot in the Dark’ I think it was) where his wife had that kind of mask on and in the middle of the night, woke up and woke HIM up, scaring him half to death with her ugliness!!!
