I probably have never heard the song, or if I did I never knew the name, or maybe I’ve known both at some point and just never put the two together.
I’ve never done opera, but I used to do musicals. Just local stuff, but it was the absolute BEST time I’ve ever had singing in my life!! It was so much fun!!
When I think of Toreador, this is what comes to mind. If it’s the song you referred to, you’re right, it is a weird use of it for that video.
Well, so much for that idea. The software won’t let me upload an MP3 file. I don’t think it accepts any kind of audio file.
Scratch that. Where there’s a will, there’s a way.
I can’t even listen to it to see if it’s on pitch.
Yes that is exactly the tune which was used in the original post. Thank you for your efforts to reproduce it here.

We have the names of all their four cats in this apartment (fourth missing here), but I’m not even going to try to tell who is who in this pic

Only three cats here. But these I can at least tell apart. From left to right it’s Draco Malfoy. Hermione and Luntik
After a decade, a stunning transformation has taken place with a cat named Scrappy, turning his once dark black coat into an extraordinary pattern resembling snowflakes.
Meet Scrappy, the cat who, at 19 years old, has adorned his beautiful dark coat with intricate snowflake-like markings. What started as white spots on his fur at the age of 7, gradually evolved into an extensive white lace pattern as he aged.
Born in 1997 as just another black kitten in a litter of five, Scrappy appeared healthy and normal. However, as he reached 7 years of age, white freckles started to emerge on his fur. With time, his coat transitioned from entirely black to flecked with white, creating a mesmerizing pattern rarely seen in cats.
Scrappy’s owners believe he may have a condition called Vitiligo, leading to his coat turning patchy white, creating a remarkable snowflake-like appearance. Despite this uncommon marking, Scrappy, who turned 19 in September, remains youthful at heart, cherishing moments with his human dad and grandma, finding pure joy in basking in the sun in the garden.
Vitiligo in cats is exceptionally rare, attributed to a loss of pigment in the skin. However, Scrappy defies odds by maintaining good health and an active lifestyle, displaying kitten-like playfulness even as a super senior cat. As the eldest resident, Scrappy serves as a mentor to his young feline companions, Lilly and Rose, guiding them with his wisdom and grace.
Pictures of Scrappy sharing moments on his social media page exhibit his charm and elegance, earning admiration from his followers. This incredibly handsome and wise kitty continues to grow in beauty and spirit with age, setting an example for his furry family members to follow.
