That is one strong pussy cat!
i just found this during a sighting of pics and vids. i’ve seen, i’ve allready posted in her topic but i guess, here is the right place.
topic name ‘do you love cats?’…no question for San.
There are situations where that poor little thing would be ON the menu of the Chinese buffet.
I apologise for lowering the tone but I am just reflecting upon a sad fact of life.
Yes it most certainly is. This goes for dogs too
According to a quick Google search, it appears this habit has become less common in China in more recent years.
“While some individuals in China consume dog and cat meat, it is not a widespread practice and is becoming less common. The consumption of dog and cat meat is primarily concentrated in certain regions, like South China, and is often associated with specific cultural traditions or historical practices. Many Chinese people, particularly younger generations, do not eat dog or cat meat and may find the idea offensive.”
I have also noticed that the trend is changing: In several countries (e.g. China, Vietnam, South Korea), consumption is falling, many cities have imposed local bans and social resistance is growing.
Nevertheless, it is estimated that around 30 million dogs and 10 million cats are still killed for their meat worldwide every year. The majority of these are in China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia and South Korea…
