I love the look of some cats. But sadly with the breading of a large number to look a specific way also causes some very serous health issues and very expensive Vet bills. I have a habit at times looking at adopt a pet websites. I see a lot of cats at mid life, read about them to discover they were surrendered because of health issues. The owner could not afford the vet bills or the cost of pet insurance that constantly goes up. Many Veterinarian offices (with no name change) have been bought out by one company. And in doing so have a monopoly here and have jacked up prices. About a year(ish) ago they increased prices 4 times! And here’s another kick to the wallet, the same company is also in the pet insurance business and slowly taking that over as well!! And have increased the price, so in turn other company’s are doing the same.
You by chance see a conflict of interest by any chance?
All this is driving people to surrender there pets when they start having health problems.
