Many of these Russian soldiers were either deceived or deceived and did not want to fight their own people. I’m afraid my pessimism is not helping, so this will probably be my last post in this thread.
I am losing my Ukrainian, Jemen, near East, African…friends, I am losing faith in humanity, watching mile-long columns of tanks ready to k__l their brothers.
I hate my moderate pessimism. I hate it from the bottom of my soul for its visibility, I hate it when I say to myself too often, I was right.
What does this pessimism of mine say to me? Why pessimism at all, the world is uniting against the aggressor?
The masses in the streets are uniting, we little people who cannot take the whip from the hands of those in power, those who are guilty of all this m____r. The Russian people, the Ukrainian people, the people of the whole world, 7 billion of us, why do we not know how to tear down the pillars of ‘democracy’, those who hold in their banks a stockpile for a billion of the hungry on this planet?
I know that my record is a spit in the ocean, but it is too heavy in my heart. How stupid we are, how over-rated, how placed at the top of the heap of intelligent beings. Every swarm of bees, a nest of ants, wolf pack even shows us what a failure we are.
M____rs give birth to c___dren so that they die in shelters or, at a young age, take up guns on command and sow death. Is that what we are, human beings??
We have packaged historical times of wars in the wrappings of inferiority, of old civilizations, of neanderthalism. Now we are advanced, civilized, ready to conquer the universe, united by descent, color, and much more. What a joke!
It is time for humanity to go back to its caves because we are no longer worthy. We never were. We are a virus on this planet. God made a big mistake when He gave us “intelligence”. At this moment, he is probably crying somewhere out there.
I know there is a beautiful side to humanity. So we know that side too. Which makes it even more incomprehensible that we throw something like this away so easily.
So where is my pessimism? This moment in the knowledge that the horizon is surrounded by beautiful red color. Until you realize that this is the b___d that will be shed over the next months, years, who knows how long. Beyond that horizon is darkness, dark times. Times of mourning, of funerals, of searching for relatives, of creating a new “democracy”. When we will ask ourselves again, how could this have happened? Again and again.
History does not exist for us to learn. It exists to show us what lies ahead.
Because we are stupid, stupid, stupid!

Unfortunately it doesn’t seem that Putin likes to break a habit as far as the Russian currency is concerned.
There is basically no value against Dollar or Euro anymore as Ruble no longer can be converted to those currencies.
Fuck Putin… The good will prevail against the evil.

Rotterdams Philharmonisch Orkest breekt met dirigent Gergiev
Het Rotterdams Philharmonisch Orkest breekt met de wereldberoemde dirigent Valery Gergiev, in het verleden chef-dirigent van het orkest. Gergiev is bevriend met Vladimir Poetin en weigert afstand te nemen van de Russische inval in Oekraïne. Eerder had het RPhO Gergiev al een ultimatum gesteld om zich op korte termijn uit te spreken tegen de oorlog in Oekraïne.
“Gisteravond is er contact met Gergiev geweest en in dit gesprek bleek de kloof onoverbrugbaar”, schrijft het orkest in een persbericht. Het Rotterdams Philharmonisch Orkest en Rotterdam Philharmonic Festivals zien zich daarom genoodzaakt de samenwerking met de dirigent te beëindigen. De concerten met hem zullen worden geannuleerd, zo ook de NTR ZaterdagMatinee. Ook het Gergiev Festival houdt op te bestaan.
“Hoewel het einde van deze samenwerking vanuit een muzikaal oogpunt een pijnlijke beslissing is, zien beide organisaties geen andere mogelijkheid.”
Rusland kondigt aanval aan op locaties Oekraïense veiligheidsdienst in Kiev
Rusland gaat locaties van de Oekraïense veiligheidsdienst in Kiev aanvallen, schrijft het Russische persbureau RIA op basis van uitspraken van het ministerie van Defensie in Moskou. Het ministerie roept volgens het persbureau mensen die in de buurt van zulke locaties wonen op hun huizen te verlaten.
Ook worden aanvallen aangekondigd op een speciale legereenheid van Oekraïne, om welke locatie het gaat is niet bekendgemaakt. Met de aanvallen zegt het Russische ministerie “informatie-aanvallen” op Rusland te willen voorkomen.

Just a thought. With the ruble devaluing to the point of being worth very little this will definitely affect the citizens of Russia. In time, how will they react to their government/Putin who caused this. Guaranteed some family members, friends and relatives that were connected together between the two countries will be k__led because of the war. With the increased sanctions on Russia you would think that eventually the citizens, in anger, will overthrow the Putin regime at all costs - even with their lives since life will be unlivable, anyways. Now what about all the Russian soldiers - they are fighting a war that most don’t want and some will be k__led but be paid with a useless ruble. The soldiers will eventually realize that their government/Putin made their life so miserable that a_____l and suicide will be their lot in life. Do you think Hitler cared for any other human being other than himself?
Another added thought. If/when Russia takes over Ukraine - will Ukraine be then subjected to the same sanctions put on Russia since it will be controlled and run by Putin’s puppets? Belarus has sanctions placed on them too for helping Russia.
