Very interesting but Europes NATO contribution in recent years has fallen behind many other countryās.
It seems to have taken this current conflict to wake many of them up as the UK has been contributing 2% of itās GDP for many years now it is countries like Germany who have fallen behind in their NATO contributions unfortunately.
We would all like to see a level playing field for contributing to NATO from all countries and not just a few who are already contributing more.

Well it could if Ukraine would have got needed amount of weapons to get its territories back and also given strict sanctions. Since NATO aināt gonna attack russia why would he give a damn at all? What Putin really cares about is being a conqueror and gaining some territories which he kinda succeeded in. NATO expansion was just another stupid excuse to start the war 
Well itās all in hindsight now but perhaps if Ukraine had modernised and maintained their defence f___es many years ago the current situation may never had happened.
The way he just walked in and took over Crimea just went to prove how ineffectual Ukraines defences were. As i said this is all in hindsight now but maybe Ukraine helped contribute to their own downfall really.
Sure, you are right, but that wasnāt my point really. What Iām talking about is though Sparky says this couldnāt have gone worse for Putin, in fact he hasnāt lost anything, he just gained little bit less than expected => still benefits :))

Yes, sorry, i understand where you are coming from now however how things are turning out he may even end up with much less than he originally had.
There is a school of thought that he may even lose Crimea but maybe that is thinking too far ahead.
I think if that happens heāll bomb us all into the Stone Ageā¦
