Unfortunately you are probably right there, sad really aināt it. There always seems to be some conflict somewhere on this crazy planet.
Canāt see the west wanting anything as such apart from providing the work and labour in rebuilding the country when itās all over as there will be years and years of that.
And NATO will obviously be installed there etc etc.
And it seems Zelensky wants to join the EU, itās them that will want their pound of flesh no doubt.
They seem to be falling over themselves to accept them as well.

Everybody has a motive for helping. The thing is more than a year ago Putin did the unthinkable attacking a souvereign and peaceful nation causing the biggest war the world has seen since the ending of WWII
We as the west (Including me who had a different opinion before that war started) got lazy and thought we can carry on as usual not recognizing the enemy lurking in the shadows ready to attack and destroying the global order we were used to before.
Our motive must be now to give every support which is needed to send everybody not only Russia but all other countries with imperialistic tendencies (Hello China) a clear message and make sure they fail with the attempts and plans they are pursuing.
Ukraine is not only fighting for its own freedom. No they are showing the world since the beginning of the war what a nation standing together and believing in itself can do.
They are not only defending the freedom of Europe they are also defending the virtues civilized and democratic nations follow and too often simply take them for granted.
Ukraine needs and must have a place among all the other European countries. This and never stopping to support them is the least we can do for them.

Yep do agree there but even with all the sanctions now, some countyās are finding ways round them to benefit themselves which doesnāt help the situation at at all.
Unfortunately money always talks in the end whatever principles some think they have.
Am not gonna get into an EU debate as i am sure we will disagree but imperialistic tendencies seem to be very prevalent there as well, but as you would say, just my opinion.
Everybody seems to want power over everybody else itās just a never ending spiral to b___dy chaos. Why countryās just canāt work together without having some legal framework and power over others is beyond me iām afraid.

Actually a good thing. Because the west has a lot more money and the longer breath in that. We can do what Reagan achieved back in the days: Invest so much money Russia is no longer able to keep up and break down.
Hah I know you think different than me here. I am still sad we lost the UK in the EU and I also think some reforms are needed to make the EU better for everybody. Saying this I still believe in that institution because in my opinion it brings more good than bad things.

I disagree on that. Hitler had a lot more control as in that time it was simply not possible to get different information on things. Nowadays it is completely impossible to block any information completely no matter how hard you try. Not even North Korea can do that.
