when it’s libya, the former yugoslavia, it’s fine but when it’s putin no. then, who sent the ukrainians to the front while abandoning them, if the westerners were coherent they would have defended ukraine. Puutin knew that the Westerners were not going to move, sad it is always the people who pay the high price.
Ukrain is not a NATO member, so…that is the main problem

i visited east germany during the berlin wall. it was not terrible but there was free school, hospital, care, sport, university (exchange with africa, ussr) when the wall fell, what is there today. all paying.

Putin already threated a nuclear war. He basically said anyone trying to stop this will pay the price, Like the world has never seen before. He was speaking about his nuclear arsenal.
I agree with most of what you say what Putin really wants a buffer against is democracy.
