Discussion about Russian invasion of Ukraine

One of Ary & Georges friends

It’s his weekend alter-ego and you should see him in a dress

Yes both answers are correct. :joy:  :upside_down_face:

Wow, I remember her. Tanks for the mammaries. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Have we seemed to go off topic just slightly

These Russian soldiers conjecture that the Americans have invented a language in which Ukrainian words are written in the Latin alphabet.

The soldiers are clearly clueless that they are holding a Polish RPG-76 Komar (Mosquito).

Absolutely unbelievable. :man_facepalming:

Ooooh you are sooo knowledgeable, makes a change right enough:joy::joy:

I’m in touch with one of the last defenders of Mariupol. He’s wounded. After Bucha massacre, he says, “surrender is not an option.” He feels their stand accomplished its mission. They tied up so much Russian firepower it gave other cities a chance to survive.

A man arrives at St Peter’s portal and behind a door he sees an enormous wall filled with clocks. On closer inspection he finds out, every clock has a name under it. He also notices that the clocks have only one hand, which moves at random. He goes to St Peter and asks him: “What are those clocks for?”

St Peter: “They’re lie-o-meters, every time someone on earth lies, the hand on his clock moves one second.”

“Oh”, says the guy and after careful inspection of that wall he adds: “Don’t see a clock for Putin?”

“No,” says St Peter: “His hangs in the kitchen as cooling fan.”

Edit: Sorry for putting this in the wrong thread, should have been in funnies & jokes.

After weeks on the frontline, a UA soldier is allowed to head home and visit his girlfriend. He will return to fight soon again. “A true soldier fights not because he hates what’s in front of him, but because he loves what’s behind him,” - G.K. Chesterton

It is nice to see a little “good” news.

Sadly, this chat has grown silent these days…

That is because most news is sad. Like today. Mariupol is ‘liberated’ by men with beards.

I get a lot of news from Ukraine and I choose not to forward most of it. This forum should be a happy place.

Here’s a very, very basic map that will help you understand the Battle of Donbas now. The Red is the Russians, the blue is the Ukrainians. As you can see, the enemy is trying to pinch off a Ukrainian salient with two major strikes from the north and the south.

We will never have good news about this war it’s only going to get worse i don’t think it will ever end.

Best case scenario would be a bullet for Putin and regime change but the chances of that happening are unfortunately nil to zero. The West must keep rearming the Ukrainian hero’s though as illegal invasion of a sovereign nation is not on contrary to what that fool says.
