Well there wasn’t anything the West could do as the USSR, aided by spies, developed it’s own nuclear capability. But yes it is the nukes that are the problem - if it weren’t for them the larger professional NATO armies ( combined ) would not have much problem dealing with the Russian army if its performance to date is anything to go by.
Brilliant! There is quite a lot of anger building up in the UK by the failure of our Government to open up to the refugees - there are many people who want to help.
Putin said Russia has no boarders. He also stated that the sanctions are like a act of war. If he is backed into a corner he will push the button. He will have nothing to rule and polls have stated a majority of the Russian people support him. I think it is the younger people who don’t and they are not strong enough to dislodge him from office. Also my post was in reference to what scientists say. Global warming will k__l us. So do we go out with a whimper of Global warming or a Bang with nuclear war?
All I can say is I hope it is not nuclear. I still think it won’t end this way.

This forum is a means for Russians to get outside news and views from. There are videos posted from the BBC and other reputable non-Russian news outlet. Many international viewers posting comments and from what I read mostly antiwar and anti-Putin. What are the chances of this site being closed to Russia and if so, will the Russian apartments be closed. Would it be possible for just the forum being banned by Russia?
I don’t know if Russians can even get this site normally. I know some have used VPNs to view the site. Porn is looked down on in Russia. People who do it are looked at a scum or low people in society.

It is irrelevant that this site is not hosted in Russia. The Russian authorities are blocking many sites not hosted in Russia.
