Discussion about Russian invasion of Ukraine

Germany is a good example of how a system change can succeed. F___ed, but still relatively peaceful.
But at the same time, it is also a bad example, because although the wall between the countries is gone, the wall in people’s minds is still there and will remain for a long time. As an East German, I unfortunately have to say that a lot of opportunities to improve things have been missed over the last 30 years… the EU election last weekend clearly showed that again. Changes take time, and the right people and the right decisions. And every little mistake can destroy everything that has been achieved so far

And in Russia, there is currently no sign of a change for the better. The 30 years that Germany has had so far have not even begun there yet…
