You don’t have to believe everything @ukpolska says as Bible word. Those are not Gooseberries because the latter don’t look green as in the photos.

Yes, my grandm____r used to have many of the bushes that they grow on and made lots of jam with them and they are delicious. Click this link and you can see them for yourself.

Compared to every photo I’ve seen of gooseberries during my research, they sure look like gooseberries to me. Here are just a couple of examples.
The red ones in the above photo are ripe gooseberries. The red berries on the leaf in Kelly’s picture are raspberries.

When you said they were gooseberries, I looked them up. I’ve seen many pictures. They sound scrumptious.
