…and in a stoop (dive) this is the fastest creature on the planet - the Peregrine Falcon. It can reach speeds in excess of 200mph…

Well I did say in excess of 200mph so 240 counts (and yes I am familiar with that figure specifically in relation to this as well).

No not ‘steep’…a stoop is another name for a dive. It’s used as a falconry / ornithological term.
