Unfortunately here in the US it is the norm, people get freaked out by nudity. At my gym it seems half the guys shower in their underwear lol. And a lot wear bathing suits in the sauna.
Hopefully this crew gets to know one another and get more comfortable around each other
Lol I never saw that a problem in saunas here in Germany…
Wearing clothes I would be afraid what will happen to the colors and chemicals they use when they make them when they are exposed to sauna heat…

well I certainly understand if its a co ed shower… of clothes would be worn… but if your in a gym with all guys… most every place I have ever used… men always do it nude. Women on the other hand are lot more self concious about being nude around other women even if its just to change clothes.
and they all just spent time in sauna . Hot Sweaty… but none have yet to go shower and wash the smell/stink off???
You know how many women are aware of hidden cams are are just not prepared to get nude.
There has been a big shift away from same sex nudity in US culture the past thirty years. In gym class we never showered afterwards and everyone made fun of the wrestlers who had to shower after practice due to health requirements. My gym used to have an open gang shower but then did renovations and now has individual stalls.
I laugh because when I go to the local Korean or Russian spas, all the young straight American guys freak out when they realize no suits allowed in the wet area. Nudity doesn’t phase the older guys, the gays or the guys from cultures where it is common like South Korea or Japan.
Thought the same thing. Maybe should call it Stinky house

Totally common here too. Never went clothed in a shower or in a sauna. 
Never had any problems showering nude, at an all boy school and then military, it is just common and not a big thing even to this day.
