I do admire the quality of her skin and her natural grace. She also waves at the cam and says ‘hello’ now and again. Also a good friend of Cinderella.

Natuurlijk liepen onze vroege voorouders ook rond in een string. Het is wellicht het eerste kledingstuk uit de geschiedenis. Maar de moderne string werd volgens velen halverwege de jaren zeventig populair gemaakt door modeontwerper Rudi Gernreich. Hij werd geboren in Oostenrijk, maar maakte naam in Amerika, en wordt ook de uitvinder van de monokini genoemd. Eerst viel Zuid-Amerika voor het draadje met een stukje stof eraan, dat aanvankelijk vooral aan het strand gedragen werd. Daarna volgde de rest van de wereld.
