Thankfully each time I have watched berg in the shower, hasn’t closed it. I agree it needs not to be there though.
If they never use it then it doesn’t need to be there at all. But while ever it is there there is the danger that a guest might use it without realising it is against the rules.
The simplest thing is just to take it down.
