To be fair, you were goaded into commenting here and apart from your views which you and I know we have both agreed to disagree on, you have kept your word and avoided this part of the forum and that commands respect and it’s a valid point in being able to turn off any notifications from a specific part of the forum.
In the settings for emails, there is an option to:
Email me when I am quoted, replied to, my @username is mentioned, or when there is new activity in my watched categories, tags or topics
It’s a shame there isn’t a more general option to turn this off for specific parts of the forum as well.

It works for me with the realms I don’t watch
Not if the username is mentioned as it gives a global notification within the forum, hence why I posted that it’s a shame you cannot turn it off for specific areas within the forum.
Let’s test it now
