Then, I need a new housemate.

welcome back from me too! fantastic that you were able to move so quickly (when I think of the bureaucracy here in my country … apart from notice periods, it would probably take me a month before the internet would work again)
At first glance, the apartment doesn’t look bad at all. You seem to have taken the bathroom with you one-to-one, including the camera positions

Yeah very rude of me not to say ā€˜welcome back’ though it was only a day you were gone. Still, nice when participants find their way back quickly.

I’m envious of the orange kitchen cupboard doors. I wanted to change mine to orange, but my landlord said no. :disappointed:

Has your house guest moved with you, Ariela, or was he left behind?

Will you stop it!!! My ribs have had enough of you buggers for one day

You creep! trying to get back into her good books with a VERY late welcome back, after accusing her of petrifying men’s scrotums

Moi? Noooooo, not me. :innocent:

There will be another movement if Ariela eats too many of those dates, and not the type I would prefer to see either   Think of all the fibre

that looks like someone’s happy

ā€˜yeah’ the cooking cam is back  and even better than before, where the backlight affected the picture too often

ps: did you notice the cup in the center? is it her or does she just look like her??

A week or so ago, I saw a video where Russian soldiers and Ukrainian soldiers were fighting in a trench. They were throwing hand grenades back and forth. As I watched, I realized that I didn’t want either one to lose. It was an odd feeling. Normally, in other conflicts, I’d hope one side or another would prevail. This time, I just have sorrow.

I think that this is actually a nicer looking apartment than the other one was. I hope that it isn’t too expensive or in a bad location for you.
So much work to move. Packing stuff. Finding places to put stuff. And then, trying to remember where you put some thing that you need, but you only remember where it was in the other apartment. :slightly_smiling_face:

just a before-picture for all of us as a reminder… let’s see when there will be an after-picture and what it will look like then

It looks like the room of a person with Diogenes syndrome

Did not know the name of that condition before tonight. You live and learn.

this reminds me of my Sister in Law … she always say that she gets this incredible urge to clean the house… then she goes and read a book until the urges passes… seems Seb had the same urge, until he saw the TV…

To be fair, I moved into my house 12 years ago and there are still boxes we haven’t unpacked. guest bedroom full of them. I’m slowly throwing things out on the sly. gonna take a while to clear the room though.
My ex had a two year rule; ā€˜not used it for two years? then it goes in the trash.’ That and ā€˜no knick-knacks permitted’ that second rule annoyed me, so I started collecting action figures just to piss him off. I don’t take well to being told what to do.
This isn’t anything, it’s just clothes waiting to go into closets or drawers. Takes a while to decide where things will live. And then change your mind and re-arrange it four or five times. (is that not the normal way of it?)

Is sebastian the sugar dady of Ariela, he looks much older .

These two….
