I wasn’t trying to argue with you. I simply wanted to give you some factual information. It doesn’t matter how weakened your immune system may be, if you don’t come in contact with one of more than 200 viruses, you will not catch a cold.

9. Can you catch a cold from cold air?
This is one of the most persistent myths about colds. The only way you get sick is when you come into contact with a virus.
Cold air may irritate a condition you already have, like asthma, which could make your body more receptive to a cold virus. But you still need to come in contact with the virus.

Bottom line, you can’t catch a cold unless you come in contact with a cold virus. That’s the only way you can catch a cold, regardless of your immune level.
And, if you have hypothermia, you have a MUCH more serious and dangerous, life-threatening medical emergency than a simple cold.
