Ariela (Part 3)

Hmm. But is it really that uncomplicated?

Thinking of it, I once more have to question one of your casual remarks. Because there are various methods by which the money could be divided among the participants, and I actually don’t know which method VHTV uses. I also don’t know if VHTV wants us to know. Maybe @kaya could enlighten us?

Of the money I pay for my annual subscrption, the lion’s share goes to VHTV. For the ease of discussion, let’s ignore that share for now and only talk about the share that goes to the managers (a whole other can of worms, that) and participants.

Idealy, I think, my money should only go to the paticipants that I watch.

Let’s say I subscribe for a year and don’t watch VHTV at all. Only on three days I go online and watch for one hour, twice I watch Ariela, once Marianthi. In a perfect world 2/3 of my money for that year should go to Ariela, 1/3 to Marianthi, shouldn’t it? But that is probably not how it works, I cannot really expect VHTV and the participants to wait for a year to find out how to perfectly split up my money.

A reasonable approximation would be for VHTV to log my viewing activity over shorter periods of time (A month, a week, or only a day?), and distribute my money according to whom I watched for how long.

Maybe the easiest version would be for VHTV to just take all the money that is to be distributed in a given time period, let’s say a day, so that would be 1/365 of my annual fee and all of your’s, too, and divide it between the realms according to which viewing percentages they had on that day.

Given a large enough number of viewers, overall that is an approximation of what the more precise methods would mean for income of the participants. Only the less VHTV you watch, the less impact your preferences have. Your money just goes to whomever everybody else is watching. It could lead us to just have a tab of our favorite realm open 24/7, regardless of if were even in the house, so our darlings get what they deserve. VHTV’s webmasters sure would like that. :grimacing:

That’s exactly what i’m saying. Only the views from the paying members count

I believe Seb & Ariela Joined on their own…no 3rd party manager.
Seb had made a comment that the pay was not that great but every little thing helps.

The simple answer is: they don’t have money for this

In simple terms, it works like this:

  • Manager signs a contract with VHTV

  • An apartment is rented

  • Cameras are procured (can also be rented from VHTV)

  • Cameras are wired and connected to the Internet

  • VHTV takes everything down

  • Manager has participants who act in front of the cameras or the manager himself plays participants

If there is misconduct, VHTV switches off the cameras depending on the severity and the manager confirms the penalty and solves the problem. Cameras go back online.

Organization of guests, parties Exchange with other apartments. All this can be done by the manager or left to the participants.

As I said, if the participant has the necessary reserves and organizational skills, he can also be a participant and manager.

There are apartments like this here too.

I also know about Seb’s comment, but it turns out that this is not the case. In fact, Ariela has a manager. Luckily, she has one of best (if not the best)

That was a quick pit stop, loo a drink and out the door.

Great! Thanks for the explanation. It confirms what I suspected: Essentially, managers are unnecessary. In my opinion it would be completely sufficient to have a technician who handles the renting or selling as well as the installation of the equipment. :slightly_smiling_face:

We’re not talking about names now John …

It seems to reassure you that the name begins with neither A nor H. :joy:

I don’t see a single name on my comment… :face_with_monocle:

As i said that she has the best one, you can be sure that i know who it is, and you can bet all your money that i would never say about A or H that they are one of the best. Totally the opposite probably :joy:

In theory, you’re right, managers are totally unnecessary. In practice, Vhtv doesn’t want to deal with any of the “human resources” issues. They are simply just a streaming platform, exactly like CB or others. The managers here, are (more or less) the studios from the camming sites. I hope this helps.

I know what you mean, but it would contradict what Maxmuster said, namely that there are apartments where the participants are also managers. I could imagine that this is the case with Rachel, for example. But that’s just a guess.

Basically, it is always better to be your own manager. But it’s probably not that easy to do it all yourself.
And then, if you have a manager, it will probably be difficult to get rid of him again

No, it doesn’t contradict Max. Max said that there are apartments where the participants are their own managers (basically, they own the equipment), same like there are the independent models on CB. The ideal situation without doubts

And no, that’s not the case with Rachel :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
