I have given up on figuring out the nature of Ariela’s various relationships, but I’m very confident that these enigmatic episodes of closeness/intimacy are not a show she’s putting on for her audience, they feel very authentic to me. I’m not sure I’m finding quite the right words here, my English isn’t that good, but sometimes my impression is that she is so empathic that it gives her some sort of fulfillment, to give these men the experiences of closeness that they need.
In this ensemble cast of a drama I’m kind of rooting for Sigma, I think he really wants to be more than just a friend. But that might just be me projecting my own friend zone trauma into the situation.
