Thank you! For a minute, I was thinking it was just me. Until I read what you wrote, I had chalked my confusion up to my “non-European” (albeit conservative) mindset. I assumed Europeans would be perhaps far more understanding (appreciative? familiar? accepting? unphased?) of these circumstances. You know: “se la vie”. You’ve shown me otherwise

Not much, just that Ariela is fucking around with 4-5 boys simultaneously, someone once said your house represents your mind and the mess in the house now starts to make sense. Im not sure what A’s gameplan is, she enjoys the attention but everyone with a brain knows this is just gonna end bad for everyone.
Oh, and throw in Will every now and then for even more headaches.

Even with all the patience in the world (and a good dose of French philosophy), there are things that remain just as confusing for everyone. And for the record, it’s “c’est la vie”, but honestly, in these kinds of situations, we could also say “c’est l’absurde”. In short, welcome to the club of the perplexed.

There is a term for Ariela’s (sexual) lifestyle: promiscuity. I think she’s just a promiscuous young woman.

I understand, but I wasn’t talking about her sexual lifestyle. I was just referring to her behavior in general, which seems a bit confused or unstable. Maybe she’s just seeking attention, without it necessarily being related to promiscuity.
