It’s not that easy to understand. As I said earlier, I think they have a “working relationship”. This probably created some tension between Ariela and Barton (as she herself has stated here). Now it looks like this has been resolved as shown above where they are hanging out as “buddies”. The fact that they work together is indicated by how they left last night. From the time they sat in the kitchen (where Sigma got a couple of phone calls) to when they were out the door, it was 5 minutes!
At the moment Ariella’s main man is Barton but you have to look back to when she joined to see her preferred lifestyle. I think that at the moment she is monogamous.
It’s not always easy to understand things from a few “pictures”. We know so little about what’s going on around everyone involved. On top of this, most of us don’t understand the language (although this is getting easier as the use of AI translation improves). We just have to “sit calmly in the boat” and comment on what we see and not what we think we know about the participants (applies to all realms)! JMO
That’s exactly what I was pointing out. No one can know what will happen in the future. Then it is downright condescending and disrespectful to other people (here Ariela’s own words) to speculate on the use of violence because you don’t like a person’s behavior!

In my world, there is a big difference between asking a question, to which it is possible to find an answer based on the information you have, and going so far as to speculate whether a person is a potential criminal. What you are alluding to is a criminal act. End of story from me!
