Maybe you missed it, but she has been in tears a few times over this Barton guy.
Sometimes, people laugh a lot to cover up the nervousness, or fear, or anger, or depression, or anguish, or many other things they’re actually feeling inside. Not saying that’s the case for Ariela, just that it might be a possibility.
Empathetic means to show an ability to understand and share the feelings of another. I believe that’s something that Ariella does want from the person she’s with. And I’m not so sure Barton exhibits that quality or ability. Of course, I could be wrong.
This, I believe, is true. I think those are things she definitely wants.
I don’t believe she’s acting, either. Maybe sometimes, but I believe Ariela is the type of person who wears her heart on her sleeve. I know that kind of contradicts something I said earlier in this post, but people are dichotomies, which means a contrast between two things that are opposed or entirely different.
People can act one way at one point, then later will act completely opposite of how they acted before. Sometimes even within a very short span of time.
