Lucas left this morning wearing what looked like Ukrainian Military Fatigues. I could be wrong off course, but the insignia suggests it is.

He is most likely in the Army Reserve Soldiers and they come from all walks of life and work part-time as soldiers for so many weekends a year. They do the same thing here in Poland and my lawyer brother-in-law was in this.
I remember reading about a new law in Ukraine where because of the increased tensions on the border with Russia they are increasing the training and they can be called up at any time.
