Don’t know why it didn’t occur to me before, but watching Alya by herself in her room, and noticing she still has that portrait her BF posed for a few weeks ago, and remembering the way he walked in silently while she was crying and then left quietly - is it possible they aren’t breaking up, but he Is being conscripted like Sawyer was???
