Who or what is Palmer? i’ve been away a couple of hours and i come back with the apartment empty and there is talk of Palmer. What’s going on?

Sorry, in the Mira and Henry group there is a guy called Palmer who shows up and just talks till everyone goes deaf!
I am not actually positive that was what he did, But why else does a guy kneel in front of a woman, and appear to put something on her finger?

It has to be said and it grieves me to say it but this apartment and its momentum is not a patch on the previous apartment. More scope, more people, more excitement. Just too good to last maybe.
